# for when I have money
# idiots on video
Hello, normally I wouldn’t do things like this on my main account, but I’m out of ideas. I don’t think a lot of people know this, but I used to be at least minorly active in the BJD (ball-jointed dolls) scene. I haven’t done much with them in quite a while, but I had two dolls that I still really love.
Had, because my younger brother broke into my locked room at my Dad’s house, took my Unoa Lusis 1.0, and sold her on ebay.
This is Yuzu, my (now former) unoa.
I haven’t been to my Dad’s for some time so I wasn’t aware that this had happened until now. In fact, I wouldn’t have been able to track her down at all, but I found a new auction where she was resold by the person who bought her, back in early May.
Here she is in the auction photo:
Even before I traced the original auction back to my brother’s ebay account, I knew it was her right away from the freckles and the wig (though those aren’t the eyes that I had).
As shocked I am by this betrayal of trust from my brother (to be honest, it’s not the first time he’s done something like this), this hurts even more because she’s so irreplaceable. This BJD is 10 years old now, and I don’t even know if the Lusis model is being actively manufactured anymore. Even at the time she was hard to get, so I imagine it’s even harder now. Either way, I wouldn’t want a replacement- I just want my doll back.
If by some astronomical chance you are the new buyer, or you know the buyer, or if this doll looks familiar to you, please let me know because I’d like to buy her back. I’ll reimburse for the amount you paid, of course.
Please signal boost if you think you might know someone who knows, but please don’t contact me if you have any other Lusis to sell. I just want to get Yuzu back.
